My Summer Reading List.... 2011
So, for me, summer is coming to an end and I am going back to school. I couldn't let the summer pass without sharing the 10 books I read during June and July. Here they are:
* 1. The Forgotten Garden, Kate Morton
* 2. A Most Unusual Governess, Amanda Grange
* 3. Chords of Strength, David Archuleta
* 4. Seven Miracles That Saved America, Chris & Ted Stewart
* 5. The Help, Kathryn Stockett
* 6. Sacagawea's Son - The Life of Jean Baptiste Charbonneau, Marion Tinling
* 7. Driven- An Autobiography, Larry H. Miller
* 8. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet, Jamie Ford
* 9. Six Month Marriage, Amanda Grange
* 10. The Scarlet Pimpernel, Emmuska Orczy
My favorites were The Scarlet Pimpernel, Seven Miracles that Saved America, and Driven. Other than The Help, (which was still good though) these books didn't have bad language. I really liked the Amanda Grange books even though they are kind of "fluffy". They are still fun to read.
Since I just finished The Scarlet Pimpernel, I am the most excited about that one. I wish the musical were playing around here soon. It was so good.
Well, I better start coming up with my list for next summer......

17 Miracles
I saw this over the weekend with my family. I haven't thought about the Martin and Willie handcart companies for a while. They really paid a huge price to help build the Kingdom of God.

Soul Surfer
I just got back from this movie with my family. What an inspirational movie and I loved that it showed their faith in God and how it is an integrel part of their lives. I loved this and recommend it to everyone!
